About Bunderra Estate

Nestled in the picturesque Blackwood Valley, Bunderra Estate is a charming family-run vineyard spanning over 50 acres. The estate prides itself on producing quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. The vineyard is committed to preserving the natural beauty of its surroundings while producing exceptional grapes.

 

The warm Mediterranean climate of the Blackwood Valley creates an ideal environment for growing a variety of grapes, including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The dedicated team at Bunderra Estate meticulously tends to the vines throughout the year, ensuring that only the finest fruit is harvested for winemaking.

Our Vineyard

The vineyard was planted in 1994 by Trevor and Mary Dickinson on what was previously a sheep and cattle farm giving it the soils which are rich in organic matter that it has today.

There are currently 21 acres under vine consisting of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
